Industry Experience - Portsmouth Election HustSouth and Portsmouth North

On 19 November and 26 November, the University of Portsmouth and The News were delighted to offer a live broadcast of the election hustings for Portsmouth South and Portsmouth North in the Eldon Building.I was so honor to have this opportunities to helping for such a big event, I was appointed to be the Jib Assistants of the show.

Here are my responsibilities for being a Jib assistant in the event:

1. Setting up the cable and equipment and double check the Jib if it is ready for shoot.

2. Assist the Jib operator and avoid people getting hit by the Jib camera or Jib arm

3. Change the camera batteries if needed.

4. Monitor the show and report if there is any problem on the floor.
